Session Themes - 2010 meeting.
The 2010 meeting of the AAH will be held April 15-17 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and is being organized by Lindsay Adams.
There will be eight paper sessions: Ancient Sport and Spectacle, Alexander the Great, Warfare in the Ancient World, Open Session on Near East and Greece, Roman Politics and Law, Ancient Macedonia, and two Open Sessions on Rome. Presenters and paper titles are available in the Program. The business meeting and banquet will follow the last session.

2011 Meeting
The annual meeting in 2011 will be held May 5-8 at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. The organizers are Randall Howarth and Cindy Nimchuk.
2009 Meeting
The 2009 meeting was held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, and was organized by Leanne Bablitz. Attendees took advantage of the very clement weather to enjoy the campus as well as to attend the seven paper sessions, with topics including elements of competition in antiquity, various aspects of Roman soldiers, including their role as brigands, their war captives and their shoes, and clothes and cross-dressing senators.
